To Determine the dashboard version you hook it to a TV and select the following: Turn on your Xbox and go to console settings. Go to system info, the kernel version is on top right. it will look something like 2.0.8495.0 The 8495 is the part you look at, if that number is higher than 7371 you cannot JTAG If you have any other questions just give us a call! This will not affect your offline playing ability at all. If you care about Live it is recommended you not play online at all with a modded console. There is a new firmware fro the Lite-On drive called Lite Touch that will get you back on live, but it is for Lite-On drives only. There is not ETA more details will follow.
