Is your Original Optical Drive on the Fritz? Not Working properly?

Here is a little secret here at Mod Masters to bring that optical Drive Back to LIFE!

First Off you will need the Proper Tools:

Torx T-10
Torx T-20
Phillips Screwdriver (smaller one)
Q-Tip
Alcohol 

Flip The XBox over and using the T-20 Screwdriver remove the 6 screws like so:

Then  Remove the 2 Small Phillips Screws from the top of your Optical  (DVD) drive like so:

Now using your Q tip dipped in rubbing alcohol, clean the laser lens gently by rubbing in a light swirling motion. Using this light circle technique you are cleaning off any dust or particulates that have settled on the laser lens.

When done flip the Q tip around and dry it using the drive side again in a light swirling motion.

Do not press to hard as to damage anything.

 Now put your Unit back together again the way you took it apart and try outyour freshly cleaned Optical Drive!

If it still does not work then you will to by a new one. They sell them on Ebay and other xbox part houses.
