Supports 3rd Wave Video This is a new way that Microsoft is putting out games, and its required to play the newer games. As of 3-11-09 only 2 games use this, they are Tom Clancy's HAWKS and MLB 2k9. These are the ONLY 2 games as of March 11th 2009 that use 3rd wave. So if you HAVE to play these games as backups (Originals work fine) then you best Update today to 1.51. Now 1.6 is JUST around the corner and perhaps you should wait for that version to come out to use your free update because We only offer 1 free update within 60 days. This new 1.6 coming out will have 0800 support (allows your XBOX DVD drive to bee seen by your computer to backup 360 games) 3rd wave, among other things. We are offering free updates too all customers in the past 90 days, however we will need to keep the console for 24 hours for the free flash update to 1.5. Keep in mind there is no additional Stealth technology in the 1.5 update for your BenQ , Hitachi, and Samsung drives, its minor performance improvements. Updating is not necessary, but if you want the latest and greatest then bring your console down and we will flash it up right!Again the 1.5 firmware offers NO ADDITIONAL protection for XBox Live! Both 1.4 and the1.5 firmware has the EXACT SAME STEALTH technology. Only people who played pre-release games online seemed to have gotten banned. (only 1 reported to me).
