They can be modded to play legal backups of your 360 games and they are live safe provided your backups are burned with the new dvd burners that can overburn. Well the Modding Scene has done it again! To create FULL Live safe backups of the the NEW XGD3 games you have to overburn them, not a problem now! These models of DVD Burner are needed
Official release of the iXtreme Burner MAX firmware V1.0 for Liteon iHAS drives
Liteon iHAS124B = baseline model
Liteon iHAS224B = 124 + LightScribe
Liteon iHAS324B = 124 + SmartErase
Liteon iHAS424B = 124 + LightScribe + SmartErase (or = 224 + SmartErase)
Liteon iHAS524B = 124 + LabelTag + SmartErase
Liteon iHAS624B = 124 + LabelTag + LightScribe + SmartErase (or = 524 + LightScribe)
Just get one of those and flash with the newest firmware! You can now OVERBURN your XGD3 games creating a FULL live safe backup! If you use ANY other burner your not LIVE SAFE.
These are burners that go in your computer to burn your legal backups.
