With the silent updates that microsoft released it has forced people to patch for each individual games to get their legal backups working again. Microsoft accomplished this with AP 2.5, they are able to change security sectores on the fly with any 2.5 games. This is in addition to XGD3 which was defeated very quickly. So wiht LT 3.0 AP 2.5 will be just another footnote in the history of microsoft trying to stop people from playing their legal backups. |

Exciting news! LT 2.0 is released for hitachi drives, now that hitachi drives are not capable of the ap 2.5 security measure, they are not going to need the the lt 3.0 update! they are NOT affected by the silent update last week and once they have lt 2.0 they will be able to play ALL games!. |

Exciting news in light of the recent updates that has disabled the ap 2.5 backups from working on your modded 360's. C4eva (hero of the people) has announced the development of a new firmware that will forever put to rest the ap 2.5 method used by Microsoft. This new firmware will completely kill it off forever! Also the hitachi firmware is almost ready and people with hitachi don't have to worry about ap 2.5 at all because this older drive is not even capable of doing these security checks. link here to the article. Now this is not released yet but for now to get your backups working there is a workaround, its a little annoying but its not impossible. link to get your backups working again here We will keep you updated of important turns in the modding community! |
